Why a male-only space matters

It gives men the freedom to open up and support each other in a way that’s often missing in mixed groups. Many men hold back or feel pressure to keep up a front, but when it’s just men, the conversation quickly becomes more real, practical, and relatable.

They realise they’re not alone in what they’re thinking, dealing with, or striving for which is often a comfort in itself, and makes it much easier to gain perspective and take action.

The focus isn’t on “talking about feelings” but on sharing what actually works, shifting beliefs and holding each other to a higher standard. That’s where real change happens, when men feel seen and understood, without judgement or pretense.

Before becoming a coach, I spent over 25 years in corporate IT and understand the pressures that come with high-demand roles.

I was the guy who didn’t look after himself, couldn’t manage a healthy work-life balance, and eventually burned out big time.

This experience took a heavy toll on my health, my relationships, and my sense of who I was as a man.

I know how hard it can be to express what we really need or want. It’s often easier to keep the peace, assuming that sacrificing ourselves is somehow for the greater good. But over time, that sacrifice eats away at us, leaving us feeling lost, frustrated and disconnected from who we are.

This experience forced me to stop. To learn how to take ownership of my life again, not just through big mindset shifts, but through small, daily commitments that helped me feel like me again.

And I couldn’t do it alone. I needed support, accountability and surrounding myself with like-minded people, specifically other guys.

That’s what this work is about. Helping men take responsibility for how they feel, how they live, and how they show up.

My approach is action-focused, rooted in real-life experience and driven by a genuine passion for helping men lead more balanced, authentic, and purposeful lives.

Virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Time spent on your goal is down to you but an average would be 30 min daily.

Approx 5 min daily for accountability check-ins in the WhatsApp group.

1st kick-off call is 90 min

5 x weekly coaching calls are 60 min each.

All calls will be recorded for playback.

Use the accountability group for support, especially if you feel things aren’t working or you’re falling behind with your goal. I will also provide support and guidance to overcome any obstacles or adjust your goal as needed. 

Part of the commitment you’re making is to set yourself up for success and do your best to attend all calls; however, life does sometimes get in the way.

Respect yourself and others. Their feelings, perspectives and stories.

Take full responsibility for where you are right now.

Radical honesty is how you start removing the obstacles and excuses that are holding you back.

I may challenge your thinking and point out your blind spots.

This is about helping you get out of your own way because I want the best for you and to get the most out of the sprint.
