Hi, I’m Carl.
If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you feel stuck in life.
But, it’s not easy to admit that, especially when you’re supposed to be the “strong” one – the provider, the loving partner, the doting father, the best mate.
And it’s even harder to talk about it because you’re afraid of being judged or told to “man up.”
But you’re not weak for feeling this way. You’ve already taken a positive step by seeking help.
I know how you feel. I’ve been there.
A breakdown in my mid-thirties forced a change in my life. I was burnt out from working in corporate IT. I felt weak, lost, and ashamed. I didn’t exercise and had no passion or purpose in my life. I repeated negative patterns in relationships that produced the same outcomes. I wasn’t married or a Dad and felt like I had failed as a man.
It’s taken years with plenty of ups and downs and continued learning, but I have discovered passion and purpose in my life.
I love how I feel after exercise and see how this impacts my mental and physical well-being. I’m designing life on my terms, setting boundaries with work and other areas of my life. I am by no means an expert or perfect. I will always be a work in progress, and I have my coaches to keep me accountable to my higher self.
I get a lot from this work. Witnessing my client’s “a-ha” moments lights me up, especially when they make positive changes to their well-being, work, relationships and how they engage in the world.
We teach what we need to learn, and I am passionate about helping other men live life more powerfully.
For me, I didn’t need some form of therapy or anything, but just a reminder that as a man, it’s ok to talk about things and realise that this can actually help. Together, Carl helped me create a solid 5-year plan with the tools to get me there. With his help, I now make sure I have time for my work and family, keeping my mind sharp and body healthy as well as having important time to relax but also creating opportunities to continue to learn new things.
